The Asphalyn marketing website does not set any cookies. It does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any other non-essential cookie. You do not need to consent to cookies to browse the marketing site.
If we ever introduce cookies on the marketing site, we will update this policy and implement a consent mechanism before doing so.
The Asphalyn application sets the following strictly necessary cookies. Because they are strictly necessary for the Service to function, they do not require consent under GDPR or POPIA.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Token cookie (HttpOnly) | Stores the signed JWT session token. Set by the Asphalyn backend after Google OAuth exchange. Required to keep you signed in. | Essential | 7 days, or until logout |
| Workspace selection cookie | Stores the ID of your currently selected workspace so the application loads the correct workspace context on return visits. | Essential | Session / persistent depending on browser |
| Google OAuth cookies (set by Google) | Set by Google during the Sign in with Google flow. These are controlled by Google, not Asphalyn. See Google’s privacy policy for details. | Essential (third-party) | Determined by Google |
The only third-party cookies set during your use of Asphalyn are those set by Google during the Sign in with Google flow. These are controlled by Google and subject to Google's privacy policy. Asphalyn does not control these cookies and does not read them beyond what is necessary to complete authentication.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you disable the strictly necessary cookies set by the application, you will not be able to sign in or use the Service.
